The New Old School of Music is licensed to work with some of the top-notch children’s programs on the market. We offer a wide variety of genres from social skills-building musicals to brand-new musical adventures that raise awareness about different cultures while learning about geography, weather, as well as the specific sound of music coming from South America, the Caribbean, Africa, Europe, Egypt, India, China, etc.

Our UNIQUE Andean Music Camp is offered to children 11 years of age and up and will be led by two of the most experienced and enthusiastic teachers at NOSOM, Mr. Carlos Boltes and Mr. Gonzalo Cortés.

Children will make new friends, get to sing, play traditional instruments like charango and zampoña as well as flute, violin, or viola, move to the beat of the music, draw & paint the backdrop, make props to be used in the performances, play games, play with boom whackers & handheld bells, use the parachute, and make arts & crafts.

• All performances will be held on Friday, the last day of camp, at 1:00 pm.
• Campers will be dismissed immediately following the performance.
• Each child is responsible for bringing his/her lunch bag which we will store in our refrigerator. We will provide one peanut-free snack and water during the program.

The camp is a week-long beginning on Monday, August 5th, 2024 until  Friday, August 19, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

• Morning drop-off available starting at 8:00 AM
• Late pick-up available until 4:00 PM

COST

• Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM: $385/week for the first child, $300 for the second sibling
• Early drop-off or late pick-up is available for $17 per hour between 8:00 am to 9:00 AM and 1:00 pm to 4:00 PM. Payment must be made before the first day of camp by credit card, cash, or check.
